Hamilton.ca Website Redesign
Drupal Web DevelopmentMar. 2014 - Dec. 2014 (10 months)Future Access Inc. hired me to consult at the City of Hamilton (and remotely) with their new web development team migrating their website and numerous web services to the Drupal 7 content management system.
I worked closely with the product owner and project manager in high-level discussions regarding web development best practices, procedures, goals and objectives for the project.
Day-by-day I worked with the other analysts on the team under the Agile development methodology: designing, developing, and implementing Drupal 7 software solutions. My daily work consisted of research and analysis, discussions, development, implementation, documentation, integration scheduling and testing, ticketing with remote resources, one-on-one and group Drupal 7 training and debug sessions. On the team I contributed to daily stand-up meetings and biweekly project reviews: presenting, discussing and reflecting on the past and future two weeks.

Jay Adams, Hamilton Website Redesign Project OwnerApril 19, 2017Adam is a brilliant young Drupal developer, but don't let his age fool you. He has natural gifts and talent well beyond his age. I encourage you to snatch him up before somebody else does. Adam was a key member of my team during the rebuild of the City of Hamilton's new website (www.hamilton.ca). Aside from his deep knowledge of all things Drupal, Adam was also a conscientious contributor to our team, always looking for solutions to complex problems. He's polite, friendly, positive and helpful. Adam will benefit from being in an organization that follows good development practices and has a clear digital strategy. He will be a great fit for a team that is collaborative, professional, innovative and well-organized. -
Sport On The Go iOS App and Website
Publicity
July 31, 2013 Brock-developed app taps into lucrative sport tourism industry Drupal Web DevelopmentiOS App DevelopmentJul. 2011 - Sep. 2013 (2 years, 3 months)Sport On The Go is an iOS app and website for finding and following local sporting events. It connects users and event organizers who share live updates from sporting events.
Working closely with the project manager and marketing department, I led a team of iOS developers to produce the iOS app Sport On The Go, released in January 2013. It has gone through several iterations since.
During this time I have had a chance to natively code in Xcode using Objective-C programming language. I also created and maintained a web service for the website and apps to communicate through, with common API to access the database. For this I coded extensively in MySQL, PHP and HTML.
